Amphion is is a Crimson Sweet type hybrid watermelon. Vigorous plants produce large melons weighing between 26.5 to 31 pounds (12 to 14 kilograms). Oblong with a green rind and broad, dark green stripes. Dark red flesh with very good flavor measures 11 to 12 on the Brix scale.
Matures approximately 85 – 90 days after sowing.
